Zanderblick
Zanderblick is a beautiful viewpoint and
rest area on the eastern shore of Tornowsee near Neuruppin.
Surrounded by the forests of Ruppiner Schweiz,
the spot offers peaceful views across the lake and
is ideal for a short break during a cycling or hiking tour.
The name Zanderblick probably does not refer to the fish of the same name,
but instead to a former local figure or
a forester named Zander.
Today, this idyllic spot is a popular stop
on paths around Tornowsee and
invites visitors to relax, enjoy a picnic and
take in the surrounding nature.
