Neuruppin–Boltenmühle cycle route
Boltenmühle is an attractive destination north of Neuruppin. This page brings together the existing Radtouren-OPR data, pictures and planning options for a ride there.

A destination with a history of its own
Between Lake Kalksee and Lake Tornowsee
Boltenmühle belongs to Gühlen-Glienicke and therefore to the town of Neuruppin. It lies about 13 kilometres north of the town centre, between lakes Kalksee and Tornowsee on the Binenbach stream. Woodland, water and its secluded setting make it a special cycling destination.
From mill to excursion destination
The story begins in 1718 with Hans Joachim Boldte and permission to build a sawmill; a flour mill followed later. From 1932 the property was used for excursions and accommodation. After the historic building burnt down in 1992, it was reconstructed in its historical style. A hotel and restaurant operate there today.
